Federal High Court Restrains Jonathan From Renaming UNILAG
The UNILAG matter is back! A Federal High Court in Ikeja has restrained President Goodluck Jonathan from changing the name of the University of Lagos.
President Jona renamed UNILAG To Moshood Abiola University after Bashorun MKO Abiola.
Justice Stephen Adah granted the interim injunction sought by students and alumni of the institution, who paraded the streets of Lagos in vexation of the name change of their swagged-up school.
The plaintiffs had filed a lawsuit against the university’s governing council, the senate, office of the AGF and the Nigerian national assembly.
The case has been adjourned till July 4th for further hearing.

This man worth more than this, but this is not the rigthful thing to do, cos we already have institution named for this man, which is mapoly, so why can't them change this polythechnic to university, instead of changing one unviersity to is name, you elders should think.

this man has a hidden plan he never want to do anything in nigeria till he finish his regime. He was just throwing issues to nigerian to start delibrating on till his four years is complete. First he throw subcidy issues which we are still battling with now is unilag change of name, tomorrow he will find another thing to distract nigeria till 2014 and not do any benefit for us in this country
