Federal High Court Restrains Jonathan From Renaming UNILAG
The UNILAG matter is back! A Federal High Court in Ikeja has restrained President Goodluck Jonathan from changing the name of the University of Lagos.
President Jona renamed UNILAG To Moshood Abiola University after Bashorun MKO Abiola.
Justice Stephen Adah granted the interim injunction sought by students and alumni of the institution, who paraded the streets of Lagos in vexation of the name change of their swagged-up school.
The plaintiffs had filed a lawsuit against the university’s governing council, the senate, office of the AGF and the Nigerian national assembly.
The case has been adjourned till July 4th for further hearing.

The name change of a school dosnt change any students GPA or destiny. The fed govt knows what dey r doing, changing the name of unilag to whatever is nothing compared to the great damage they have done to this country since independence. Like i told ma cousin who is a student of that institution,''face your studies and graduate peacefully''. Thats what other students should do. Unilag to MAU is not grace to grass.
