D Banj has launched the much awaited Koko Mobile. We all had our fingers crossed as to what would be integrated in this Koko phone.

Some thought we could call D banj with it, maybe say hi to Don jazzy......But the phone which is currently priced at N9,800 has a limited features of a Memory card, Fm Radio, Mp3/Mp4, GPRS, some installed applications like facebook, ebuddy, Nimbuzz, Opera and even a First Bank mobile application.

Jos: Soldiers Seize Truck Loaded With Explosives

A truck load of explosives has been intercepted by the Special Task Force (STF) in Plateau State.

The truck which was on its way to Jos from Kaduna, was intercepted on Thursday with a Police escort who was on mufti.

Captain Charles Ekeocha, spokesman for STF said the interception was made at Mistali near Jos.

Ekeocha said: "This is to bring to the notice of the public the arrest of a truck loaded with explosives, which are raw materials for making bombs.

Tsunami Hits Japan - 8.9 Mega Quake 32 Dead

A massive earthquake has hit the north-east of Japan, triggering a tsunami that has caused extensive damage.

Japanese television showed cars, ships and even buildings being swept away by a vast wall of water after the 8.9-magnitude earthquake.

The quake has sparked fires in several areas including Tokyo. At least 32 people were killed, officials said.

It struck about 250 miles (400km) from the capital at a depth of 20 miles. There have been powerful aftershocks.

The brand had Oluchi as the former face of Natures Gentle Touch Relaxer, which won the best relaxer for the year 2010.

The picture shows a more matured Agbani, comparing with the face that was crowned Miss World in November 2001, beating Miss Scotland and Miss Aruba in the final round.

Zamfara: Lead Poison Kills 400 Kids

An outbreak of lead poisoning in the northern Nigerian state of Zamfara has killed at least 400 children under the age of five over the past six months.

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has said over 400 kids have died and 500 persons admitted in hospitals in Zamfara State following an outbreak of lead poisoning.

Authorities say the poisoning is believed to be related to gold mining operations in the region.
