Appeal Court Affirms Death Sentence On Rev King

Rev. King

Following a Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos today, Chukwuemeka Ezeugo (alias Rev. King) has been sentenced to death for the killing of a church member six years ago.

The Court of Appeal confirmed the sentence today after Rev King asked the court to set aside the verdict of a Lagos High Court, Ikeja, which convicted him of killing Ann Uzoh, a member of the Christian Praying Assembly in July 2006.

Rev King was accused of setting his church member "Uzor" on fire after pouring petrol on him.
