Boko Haram Attacks Damaturu Prison. Frees Over 40 Detained Members
At about 6AM this morning, Damaturu prison on Gashau road was attacked by gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram members who set free several inmates.
Police spokesperson Frank Mba confirmed the attack, he said the gunmen freed about 40 inmates, injured a prison warder and that one fleeing inmate was killed in a gunfight.
