Jonathan Cancels Democracy Day Ceremony

President Goodluck Jonathan

President Goodluck Jonathan cancelled the 2012 Democracy Day ceremony that would have held in Abuja today 29th May 2012. Jonathan however, aired a live national broadcast this morning.

There was no official reason as to why the ceremony was cancelled, but even a small-pikin would know it was for security purposes for those men wey dey like to blow-up things.

On October 1, 2010, two bombs exploded near the Eagle Square venue of the 50th independence anniversary celebrations, killing many and injuring several others.

Like play like play, these Boko Haram people are beginning to tailor how we run things in Naija. We can't even celebrate Democracy?
