The University of Benin (UNIBEN) was set on a state of chaos a protest was staged by angry students over the killing of a final year student who was killed by some unknown persons who stormed the school and stabbed the final year medical student to death.

The deceased student by the name Abubakar was killed along the Staff Quarters Road on Ugbowo campus of the university at about 9pm.

"Who Dem Be? We Dey Vex" those were the tag lines of the angry students who turned their vex on the school authority for not being able to protect their students.
