Davido has denied the rumours of him being slapped in Abuja by a uniformed man. This news was every where yesterday stating that the Dami Duro singer got a dirty slap for being rude.

The rumour said...(I SAID RUMOUR OH) Davido was invited for the recently concluded Nokia Rap Battle show alongside other prominent acts by one Nosa, a fast rising music producer/manager.

After the show ended, Davido was HIGH, and was hopped into Nosa's car. The car was then stop by some Mopol men for a routine check onto late hours.

Davido jumped out of the car and started boasting "don't you know me, what the fuck is wrong with you guys..."

Mopol man wey no send am, landed him a concrete slap on the face. Nosa came to the rescue and rushed Davido back to the car explaining that his friend is a popular musician especially in Lagos and was coming from a show.

Davido went on twitter today to debunk the rumours: "I am safe and at home ... Stop the lies! Unlike some of yall der r some pple out that care ...OMO BABA OLOWO :GENESIS OUT SOON!"
