There was an unexpected beef in the Naija rap music world as Modenine and female rapper Munachi Abii got themselves in an exchange of words recently.

Here is the thing, Muna was the host of the just concluded ‘Nokia Don’t Break the Beat’ rap competition which took place at the GET Arena on April 28th. Modenine happened to be a judge in the competition.

There was argument on the judges decision between Muna and Modenine, when Modenine decided that T.K.O had won the final rap bout.

with you but, my opinion matters too, you know’, Muna told Modenine.

Modenine fired Muna back saying ‘I’ve been listening to hip-hop for a long time, trust me, you have to respect my opinion.’

Muna replied him saying: ‘I’ve also been listening to Hip-Hop for a long time, I respect your decision but my opinion matters, please pass the mic men.’

Am sure we would be expecting some studio retaliation from both ends soon, but when Modenine was asked about it he said: ‘I’m a lyrical warrior but I don’t kill women or children’. #shet
