22 year old Italian Footballer Mario Balotelli has been confirmed by the Manchester City coach of not being able to use his contact lens any longer thus requiring an immediate surgery for Myopia (shortsightedness).

'Mario is not ready to return to the pitch yet. He no longer seems to tolerate contact lenses. He's feeling alright now, but the problem can return anytime'- the coach told reporters

According to reports, Balotelli would be undergoing surgery on September 4th 2012.
