Yesterday, a group of armed robbers unleashed terror in Ibuza community in the Oshimili North local government area, Delta State.
This attack led to the death of six policemen, including a Divisional Police Officer, as well as two soldier. The blood shed is coming just few days after the Delta State Commissioner of Police, Ikechukwu Adube, paraded some armed robbery suspects and announced the seizure of dollars worth N3.9 million.
These armed robbers who were said to be 8 in number, came in a red Toyota Camry and a bus, took the life of Tim Chibukewe, was the DPO in charge of Abraka. Another police casualty, John Danladi, was described as “a popular crime buster.”
During the gunfight with law enforcement agents, five of them were killed, and the rest took off escaping through Ogwashi-Uku.
