Unbelievable! Due to the the current uprising in Libya against President Muammar Gaddafi, Nelly Furtado has decided to clean her hands from blood money paid to her in 2007 to perform a 45 min set in Italy for the dictator & his family.
Nelly Furtado stated that "In 2007, I received $1million from the Gaddafi clan to perform a 45 min show for guests at a hotel in Italy. I am going to donate the money."
Thumbs up Nelly, Thats the way it should be done. But would her fellow artists like Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Usher and Lionel Richie feel the same way?
The Federal Government has evacuated 499 Nigerians, out of the about 2000 said to be stranded in Tripoli over the political crisis in Libya. The returnees arrived the Abuja International Airport at 1:30 am on Sunday, via a chartered flight.

The students are protesting an increase in the acceptance fee for fresh students and health insurance fees. It started on Monday, with the students boycotting lectures.
