Massive Rain Causes Havoc In Lagos. One Person Dead



Lagos State was visited by an early morning rain that caused a lot of havoc in the city, destroying over 20 buildings in areas like Sabo, Yaba and leading to the death at least one person.

One of the masts fell on a car and another crushed a victim to death in Obalende. The dead victim was said to be a teacher at St. Gregory College, Obalende. The two occupants of the car escaped death.

A billboard fell on the police residential quarters in Adekunle area. At the University of Lagos, the roof of Moremi Female Hostel was blown off by the storm that took the students by surprise.
